[cairo] hardware 2d accelerator with cairo

Dear developers and users of cairo.
I want to use cairo in my embedded system under linux os with gpe. I use an 
arm processor with hardware 2d graphics accelerator. So my question is, is 
it possible to use my hardware 2d accelerator from cairo to draw lines, 
points, bitblt oparations, alpha blending and etc.? If it is, could you show 
me the way of implementation? Thanks a lot.
