[cairo] Free to wrong pool

Hi,

I would like to point to a bug leading to crashing perl with the message

"Free to wrong pool 225ed0 not c01ef at png-streams.pl line 25."

My working environment is:

Windows XP,
Active Perl 5.8.8 build for MSWin32-x86-multi-thread,
Cairo, Gtk2 ... run time libraries  from http://www.gtk.org/,
Cairo, Glib, Gtk2 perl modules from 
http://www.lostmind.de/gtk2-perl/ppm/MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-5.8/

The message appears running the demo png-streams.pl script from 
http://webcvs.cairographics.org/cairo-perl/examples/png-streams.pl?view=co&content-type=text%2Fplain

The error also comes when only the write_to_png_stream part is used. The 
problem has already been seen by others during tests at compilation 
time: http://www.mail-archive.com/gtk-perl-list@gnome.org/msg03986.html

If this is not a bug rather then misconfiguration i would be happy about 
help!
