Maybe your Xlib render is too old.

What is the Linux distribution you are using?
#i.e: cat /etc/redhat-release or something like that?

I am using Cent OS 5 and:

[vuhung at aoclife extensions]$ rpm -qf /usr/include/X11/extensions/Xrender.h

and the file Xrender.h contains:

typedef struct _XTransform {
    XFixed  matrix[3][3];
} XTransform;

You should double check that.

Check this.

Found but too old.

Your kernel is 6 years old and so is your Xlib headers, probably.
