Hi Clemens,

Is java-gnome with MSys the way to go for this?

I want to try and port a python + cairo app to jython + cairo....
in theory it'll be easier than maintaining a version with a seperate
java2d engine...

Hi Stuart,

You should be able to compile java-gnome on windows too, it can
generate gtk+-only bindings.
However, I would recommend giving Java2D a try, however I am biased ;)
