[cairo] install issues on OS X 10.4

I'm not a mac dev at all and don't even know if that's expected or not 
on 10.4, but it does seem odd.  Here's what things look like on a box 
I know someone's built cairo on:

$ ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.dylib
lrwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  14 Oct 16  2008 /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.dylib -> libX11.6.dylib

$ ls -l /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.6.dylib
-rwxr-xr-x  1 root  wheel  4620928 Jul 31  2008 /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.6.dylib

Perhaps? Anyone else know?
