PDF is a vector format, which is highly colour management related.

The GenericRGB is really misleading. But they decided only to go for that 
because of such mind like you exist, which want to inadequately bypass 
colour management. You seems to be full of energy to keep colour 
unmanagement alive. By reason or out of habit?

osX engourages colour management. Its more work on osX to circumvent 
colour management.
Thats a consequent decission for a platform, which cares about colour.
