[cairo] Snow Leopard Hell

Hello,

i'm desperately trynig to build cairo on my snowleopard. I try to build EVERYTHING (pixman, freetype, etc..) from source.
I DO set CFLAGS="-arch x86_64" 

I'm tried with both 1.8.10 and 1.9.6 (attached)

when running the make test I get a lots of error message about "wrong architecture"

but WHY? I specifically tell cairo to build 64Bit

I'm attaching my config.log and maketestlog files to help you figure this out!

I'm also going to report this bug where the make test suggests to.
