[cairo] Need Help Installing py2cairo on Snow Leopard

Hello,

I am sure that I am doing something stupid.

I have cloned the py2cairo repo and then ran:
./waf configure
./waf build
sudo ./waf install #Cannot write if not sudoed
python -c 'import cairo; print cairo.__version__'

The last command failed with python's 'ImportError: No module named cairo'

Can someone point me in the right direction?
