I myself use Ruby or Nim generally. But if something does not work as
desired it is generally a good idea to test existing C example code.
When it works fine, convert it to desired language. When not, ask here.
Finding someone familiar with guile-cairo and willing to test your non
attached sample code may be hard :-)
