Hi,

I can't answer your question, but I have a question to you: What does
your application do if the file name cannot be expressed in the current
codepage?

Cheers,
Uli

In my application I currently have code in place to ensure that the file names are encoded in the current codepage. I guess I will now have to first check which cairo version the user has, and then convert as needed? Are all applications expected to do this?
