[Clipart] Problems with the website during/after submission

Ah, yes.  When that error message was written, the only way to get it
was to not fill in some required fields.  Later, when the site was
redesigned (late summer or early fall), the submission thing on the
front page was stripped down so that it doesn't give you the
opportunity to fill in those fields.

I agree with your solution of making the error message friendlier.
I'll look into this after the 0.09 release.  (Someone poke me in about
a week, if I forget.)

This is one of the problems resulting from assumptions shell.php makes
that aren't valid.  This specific problem is because shell.php naively
assumes the entire site is in one directory; it assumes this
pervasively, not just in one place, and so almost every link in it is
broken on all the portions of the site that aren't in the document
root directory.  I personally am reluctant to attempt such widespread
changes in the PHP portions of the site, since I don't actually know
PHP at all.  Someone needs to look at it, though.  I was almost sure
we had somebody on board who speaks PHP...

This is the same shell.php problem.

We recently recovered from a server outage, but some of the problems
you point out have been with us for a while.  Of course, the website
redesign is continual and ongoing, since the project is fairly new
(less than a year old, unless I'm mistaken).
