That implies that it's an xxx file that's been put in a zip archive
(presumably in order to compress it).  I'd rather go with a single
extension.  We could just use .zip, I suppose.  We don't have to
decide this immediately; we could specify the format of the archive
first and worry about the filename extension subsequently.
