Bryce,
 I'll look at it, but the idea will be a little different: I'll
prepare first a script to run over a tree with svg files which creates
thumbnails for each of them. To create thumbnails in run time is not
good :-)
 Then, I'll look at the php script you sent me.
 I'll get in contact with you shortly.
