Also, it is not the authoritative means to determine the title either.
It is convenient to have the filenames generated that way, so that
most of the filenames are related to the contents of the image, making
it easier for people to find images of a certain thing, but in the end
the filename's *core* purpose is to be unique for each unique image,
and the real way to determine the author, title, and so on is from the
metadata.

"Browse the Library" makes sense to me, or perhaps "Browse the Clipart
Online".

Similarity to words in French or any other language is mostly
incidental, since ultimately the website as it stands is in English,
and the correct way to internationalise it would be to have someone
actually, you know, *translate* it -- which, incidentally, would
become an ongoing task, as the site never stays 100% the same for very
long.  Frankly I am more interested in internationalising the
collection itself, as has been discussed, although if someone wants to
put the time into i18n for the website I have no objection.
