Batik is another program that can do svg to png conversion. It is Java
based, so I would expect it to work on OSX. It's a bit of a bear to
install and run from the commandline, but it can be done (I can provide
pointers if anyone's interested.) Batik is good in that it is highly
SVG compliant (better than inkscape), but bad in that it is very, very
slow (significantly slower than any of the other svg tools I've used).
Inkscape also has a commandline mode (see 'man inkscape') that is useful
for doing svg to png conversion.
