You'll find enclosed a collection of SVG flags I have produced or collected.
They include e.g. all US states. Most of them were missing from the open
clipart collection (except 24 US States - I have either copied them without
change from the open clipart collection, or made small improvements - that
should be easy to check with 'diff'). All flags which are of my own are
put in the public domain, and as far as I know, those which I collected
(and most often reworked) are also free from any right.
I have also included "deprecated versions" which I later replaced by
This work was done in connection with my "xrmap" project (a world map
viewer). I now consider the set of flags to be complete, including all small
islands and dependencies which have an official (or even unofficial) flag.
(Still missing are subnational flags of smaller countries, e.g. in Europe,
Russia, India... This should be probably addressed by a specific call to
people in these countries).
