Hi,
I have filed a bug against colord in Debian since most programs show
CMYK images in an oversaturated way:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=774266
As far as I can tell only krita, cinepaint and scribus do it right. Most
other programs I tried show wrong results that are very similar (eog,
gwenview, geeqie, gimp, shotwell, okular, evince, gThumb, nautilus,
GNOME document preview), only delaboratory and imagemagick's display are
differently wrong.
Now I am wondering if colord is the right point for this bug report.
What do you think? In my opinion, the similarity of the results
indicates a common method that transforms CMYK images into oversaturated
RGB images. Is it in colord? in lcms2? a parallel implementation in GTK
and QT?
Cheers
Michael
