Apologies for getting your hopes up. That page was written long
ago, based on specifications, and needs to be updated. In fact,
I've yet to find a monitor with an internal lookup table that
actually uses the VCP feature codes defined in the MCCS spec for
loading the LUT. I own a LP2480zx, have tested on a NEC PA241 and
a couple Eizo Coloredge models. They all seem to use a
proprietary interface for loading the hardware LUT. And now your
report on the Dell U2413 dashes my hopes for that monitor as
well. <br>
<br>
Can I trouble you to run "ddcutil interrogate" and send me the
output. I'd like to see what features the U2413 supports and how
well-behaved it is. Thanks. <br>

Like me. :-)
I just tried it, compiled master on Debian. I have a DELL U2413 attached,
however, querying VCP 73 (LUT size) says it's not supported:
$ ddcutil getvcp 73
VCP code 0x73 (LUT Size ): Unsupported feature code (Null
response)
Is that expected? <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.ddcutil.com/colormgt/">http://www.ddcutil.com/colormgt/</a> seems to suggest that it
should work. Not being required to use Windows to calibrate my display would
be great.
