That page was written long ago, based on specifications, and needs to be updated. In fact, I've yet to find a monitor with an internal lookup table that actually uses the VCP feature codes defined in the MCCS spec for loading the LUT. I own a LP2480zx, have tested on a NEC PA241 and a couple Eizo Coloredge models. They all seem to use a proprietary interface for loading the hardware LUT. And now your report on the Dell U2413 dashes my hopes for that monitor as well. Can I trouble you to run "ddcutil interrogate" and send me the output. I'd like to see what features the U2413 supports and how well-behaved it is. Thanks.
