[compiz] Compiz slower?

I just updated compiz to current git.

Now, when moving windows, compiz & xorg eat 40% of cpu.

I switch back to my last git version (12/12/06) and eveything is working 
again...

i start the 12/12/06 version with: /usr/bin/compiz --use-cow --replace gconf

and the last git version with /usr/bin/compiz --replace gconf

Am i missing something?
