It would seem that the problem came from the libXrender 0.9.0, I have
make some test before update in version 0.9.1 and even with the XFlush
workaround the problem be always present. Once the updated library, I
can't reproduce the problem, with and without the Xrender patch.

yes it's that, I had made a little brutal patch,
only the initialization watch pointer was enough indeed
