[compiz] mulitple OpenGL contexts in single window

Hi,
I have a GTKmm application that uses two separate OpenGL widgets
within the same window. When running under Compiz, I am getting some
strange behaviour. Everything is fine when it is disabled.
Essentially what happens is that any resize of the widgets causes X to
hang for a second or two. After that, one of the OpenGL windows no
longer gets properly updated.
I've attached a single example in C using GTK+ & GtkGLExt to
demonstrate the problem. Maybe someone else can reproduce it. To
compile:
gcc opengl_multiple_context.c `pkg-config gtk+-2.0,gtkglext-1.0 --libs
--cflags`
This opens a window with two OpenGL contexts in a HPaned widget. Just
drag the separator handle across to get the odd behaviour.
Obviously I can't rule out a bug in GtkGLExt, but the fact that the
problem only occurs within compiz suggests that it isn't GtkGLExt.
Besides, I have no idea what other toolkit I could use to open a
window with two OpenGL contexts in it... Maybe Qt?
Another point of note is that I am using a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 with
the NVIDIA restricted drivers...
