I think that if you are not planning to take part in development of
involved applications, you could share your ideas in this mailing
list, maybe add new types of items considered as shared resources -
samples, synth patches, midi keyboard instrument lists/descriptions (I
really don't know why the hell we need different ones for RG and MusE)
etc. This will require reading specs at our wiki [1] and contributing
to them.

We are still missing clipboard section in our 'Shared resources' spec.
Maybe we need a new spec, specialising on this particular theme. I
would really like seing freely available copy/paste of pcm audio
between applications (say, ReZound and Ardour). You could help
bringing people together to discuss it.
