It seems overlapping areas between the OpenICC and Create groups.

As the matter was started here, why not stay.

For the Oyranos side I would definately need more informations 
involved. For instance a device independent colour space (XYZ/Lab),
information about single channel naming and various forms of naming for 
one colour - nick name, normal name, common or base name, long 
description. I am about prototyping.

Possibly an application ID to identify the source would be helpful, like 
"Scribus colour selector". As well HDR related infos are needed.

These information shall be exchangeable as well outside of Oyranos.
Is the format rather long (xml), it would be in need to be splitted for 
embedding into different environments. A long file versus a compact memory 
format stand opposite.
