hello

may i ask everybody who is concerned to express they concerns about
this wording changes in the irc channel (or here on the list)
in the next few hours?

personally i would go for
"
- free graphics software
- free graphics environment
"

> fonts,

fixed

i've also thought about using that picture... but imo it doesn't say much
about the lgm (other than "many people were there). i choose the picture
currently on the main page because it transmits the spirit of lgm:
people working together in a peaceful atmosphere.

i have a picture of mine which is similar (it's the same scene) with
people from more projects than only scribus:

if anybody has similar pictures please send it to me (i've found none "usable"
in flickr... most are on the party side or just presentation shots)

we could also have random pictures show up if you prefer. or different
pictures on different pages (i'm seriously thinking about putting the group
picture on the signup or projects page).

though, since i have several things to work on, this is on the low priority side...

ok... the question is: should we list them individually, or put them in the
"open font library"?

i tried to introduce a new concept and keep the project description as
short as possible in order to let the visitor have an overview about projects
at lgm. links to full descriptions and other resources are provided...

in your case i wonder which project should be listed individually. i
also wonder if it's better to use the space to list all the sub
projects or to explain what the project is and link to a page on
http://www.openfontlibrary.org/ which lists all the projects.

have fun
