This code has been lying a round for a long while, but never got to end-users.
It should now be easy to package for distributions, so please file
requests with your favorite distro.
Packages for Arch Linux are already available in AUR.

Similarly, the first stable releases of the GIMP OpenRaster plugin,
and OpenRaster tools/utilities is planned.

I have also requested file uploading and a bug component for the
OpenRaster stuff at freedesktop.org:
