	Yes; that'd work - as long as we specify it at this stage for maximum
deployment. I guess a simple perl script for maximum
platform-agnosticism might work[1].

	Or we could glup translations into their own file to save parsing
thrash perhaps; might save some hard-core head movement.

[1] - perl is particularly ubiquitous it seems to me; was there a reason
that pkg-config was written in C ?
