Stopping service

Hello list,

Working on a dbus client and server. I can now start the server from the
client with a "startup" method, I also have a "shutdown" method, in which I
simply call "gtk_main_quit()". 

Should this be enough, does dbus check that the app is running, or does my
shutown method need to add some code to deregister from the bus?
