I think it's important to note that we can only realistically do a (user,machine) tuple bus, not strictly speaking a user bus. A per-homedir bus (homedir is the only way I know to map a user to some data) will have the same problem as gconfd, i.e. it breaks all the time due to firewalls and things. Havoc
