Shouldn't then dbus only be used to transmit the fact that there's data 
to get, and where ; then use something else to do the actual data transfer?

I mean just like you can use jabber to _manage_ file transfers 
(JEP-0096) using either IBB (JEP-0047) or SOCKS5 (JEP-0065) to _do_ file 
transfers.
