dbus-launch not getting PID correctly of Slackware 10.1

Hi All,
I'm trying to get DBUS 0.33 to run on my Slack 10.1 system. For some
reason, dbus-launch isn't correctly getting the PID of dbus-launch:
# ./dbus-launch
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS='unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-ul4sNlUXST,guid=763f7c4209639fa0d40567fc9309f800'
DBUS_SESSION_BUS_PID=19491
root at moria:/tmp/dbus-build/dbus-0.33/tools# ps -A|grep dbus
19493 ?        00:00:00 dbus-daemon

Any ideas? I'm happy to provide more info, but I'm not sure what else to
provide...
