Hyphens (-) in unique names

unique names not bus name.  There were some tests in the suite which
tested that :- and :0-10 got blocked.  I took these out but wanted to
make sure this was what we wanted.

I must have missed it.  Sorry, I'm getting a bit militant as we move
closer to 1.0 ;-)
