Sure, how exactly do I do that?

If you want, I can try re-fashioning the tests into a unittest-style
test and try to shoehorn them into the existing test-client.py.

Or, I can update the dbus_python_check.py file to run my test server
and client and report a result.

Let me know the best way to proceed.
