Registering com.skype.API

Skype uses a very old version of D-Bus that is incompatible with the 
current daemon and library. Until they update that, you cannot use it.

Or, alternatively, you can downgrade your D-Bus daemon and library. But 
remember that's a very old version, unsupported and possibly very buggy.

Thanks for your reply.

I used dbus 0.23 as was suggested at skype. It works now, I am able to
ping the com.skype.API service.
