About DBUS signals

From your application, you just emit the signal. You don't choose where 
you emit it to: you emit it to anyone who's listening to it.

It's actually the job of the receiver to tell the D-Bus daemon that it's 
interested in that particular signal, by way of an AddMatch rule.
