dbus-commit mailing list problems

Hi all,

a few weeks ago I tried to subscribe to the dbus-commit mailing list
with an error message "dbus-commit Subscription results You must supply
a valid email address." although a valid email address was entered. I
reported this error to the mailing list administrator but got no answer
and the problem is still there.

Additional the mailing list is polluted with spam for example see March
and April 2007 in http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/dbus-commit/

Is anyone able to fix this issues ?

I think that it is important for a project like dbus to have a working
and clean commit list to be attractive for additional developers.
