C++ bindings status

Hi,

I am looking for C++ bindings, according to the wiki, OpenWengo's is the
only maintained one (if I'm not mistaken).  

Are there plans to make it available as a package? Or making it easily
available to users?  Are there official maintainers? How many projects
depend on it?
