I'm sorry, I did not understand your problem. When you tried to use the
NDesk D-Bus implementation, what problems did you face? It's written in
C#, but as far as I understand, it can be used from any CLR-capable
language.
Besides, if you are doing direct client-to-client, the bus daemon doesn't
interfere at all, whatever implementation you chose (the reference one,
NDesk's or Java).
