The URI is just a symbol, it isn't supposed to be dereferenced - many
RDF and XML applications use the http scheme like this for namespacing.

Inventing a new scheme name on own volition also is bad practice. Adding
new names to the URI scheme namespace is a function thats reserved for
the standards organizations (namely IANA) which have a recognized
process for these things.
