dbus-glib - build hangs

Hello,

I try to build dbus-glib using mingw+msys on windows xp.
It configures successfully (at least it seems so), but at make time it does one of the following:
- throws an 'Permission denied'
- building process hangs indefinitely
both things at the following step: 

Making all in tools
make[2]: Entering directory `/m/Development/dbus-glib-0.76/tools'
../dbus/dbus-binding-tool --mode=glib-client --prefix=dbus_bus --output=dbus-glib-bindings.h dbus-bus-introspect.xml

Does anybody have a clue?
