dbus-monitor: how to see return values?

This is dbus 1.2.1-4 in debian unstable on armel. I did

git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/dbus/dbus

and looked for dbus-monitor in the output of "git log" but did not
find anything relevant between 2005 and now. I'll try the code later
if I manage to build it easily.
