How to combine asynchronous call with threads??

I have implemented asynchronous calls using glib-proxy objects. I am trying
to implement threads both at listener and server side. 
Should I go for C threads OR dbus threads. Which would be better? :confused:
I want to create threads on demand at server side, how can it be possible??
