lock suspend via dbus-send

Hi folks!

I'd like to know how to lock the standby-mode.
I thought it'd look like this:
dbus-send --print-reply --system --dest=org.freedesktop.Hal
/org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/computer
org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.SystemPowerManagement.Suspend.AcquireInterfaceLock
But all I get is: Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.AccessDenied ...
Could someone help me to make this right, please?
