Hi all,

I am a newbie to DBUS, great concept :) . I wrote a small application - using DBUS where I call dbus-send to send a signal when my DHCP does an ACK on an IP, to send the leased ip address as a string argument attached to signal. My dbus-service listens for the particular kind of signal "com.xyz.abc.Signal" and acts on the leased ip-address received with the signal.

My problem is out of 10 signals sent only 7-8 are being received by the service. The point is the DBUS server responds but after a time lags say 20-30 seconds for the first few signals after it has been started.

Is it a normal time lag ? Using dbus-1.0.0-7 on Centos 5.2 . The signals are of type system and not session.
