libdbus example code

I am running the libdbus example code from here
http://dbus.freedesktop.org/doc/dbus/libdbus-tutorial.html

When I launch the example in the "listen" mode and open a dbus
interface like qdbusviewer, d-feet or the cmd line tool qdbus, when I
try visually click on the interface, the app hangs. Also when I try
through the command line, the cmd is blocked (until I click Ctrl-C).
Is this a bug ? Or I just need to add another function in the example
to handle requests like these ?
