I cannot say I am particularly thrilled to see this. When I did the
original patches I asked you for your original work, which you claimed
you had, so that I could work on a common interface for systemd and
upstart to handle activation. You never bothered to send me that and
repeatedly made clear that you weren't interested in defining common
interfaces, so that I ended up implementing my own systemd-specific
stuff and got it merged.
Now after all that you do want this kind of activation hookup for
upstart too, and now want to litter the D-Bus source code with multiple
implementations which happen to be almost entirely identical except that
a few strings are named differently.
