please tell me about the feasibity anf roadmap for using dbus.

Hello,

 

 

   I want to build a GUI application with QTSDK-4.6.2 and its running. Now,
to go ahead in my project,

I have to call some function say playvideo();(implemented in Qt GUI) from my
another application ,which

Is written in C Language.

 

  Its simple code which should be able to call playvideo() of qt ,so that qt
can play a video on Widget.

For this I am thinking of using D-Bus. But, I don't know what will be the
API for C application which can

Call QT's playvideo(). 

 

 Also mention the tools and packages I will need for C application. And how
it can be done. Please
