I'm not running windows.
I had problems to use DBus with QT. DBus requires a main loop (GMainLoop) in
order to run properly.
My application was in QT and the QT event dispatcher loop was not that
compatible with GMainLoop.
I know it is possible to change the default QT event dispatcher loop to a
GMainLoop based option, however I couldn't find a way to do that.
I end up implementing my own RPC solution based on Sockets.
