send credentials or not?

Hi,

how can a client of a bus tell whether it should [send the
credentials][creds] or not?

I got a [report][21] for Ruby-DBus that it doesn't work on OpenBSD
and I am trying to figure out where exactly the problem is.
Currently I whitelist just FreeBSD.
