libdbus vs libgio

Hi,

Emacs has implemented dbus bindings for Lisp. This is based on
libdbus. Furthermore, Emacs has support for gconf and gsettings, which
links libgio to Emacs.

As a result, Emacs has two different connections to the session
bus. This is unfortune.

Is there a possibility, that both connections to the session bus could
be shared, somehow?
