dbus and Linux Containers

Hi everybody,
is it possibile for an application running inside a Linux Container to connect to DBus ?
 
I am getting an error with :
DBusConnection.getConnection(DBusConnection.SYSTEM);
 
org.freedesktop.dbus.exceptions.DBusException: Failed to connect to bus No such file or directory
 at org.freedesktop.dbus.DBusConnection.<init>(DBusConnection.java:304)
 at org.freedesktop.dbus.DBusConnection.getConnection(DBusConnection.java:282)
 
What am I doing wrong ?
